We just finalized the color and design and they should be shipped to me in 40 to 45 days. I will post once I get them on.

OK I am in the process of an order with them for my C8. The price is a lot higher then what NHMach1 posted here,

So, now they want full payment before they can show me a final rendering as to what the wheel would look like?

Indeed, the company policy now is that we require a deposit to start the wheel design process. It’s a fairly labor-intensive task, and we introduced this rule to reduce the workload on our design team and focus only on clients with serious intentions. However, if after the rendering you decide not to proceed with the purchase, we will issue a full refund.

That’s fair since it’s refundable

Did your center caps fit? They told me my upgraded centers will not fit. Said they could design a Corvette logo center cap.

Really cool! I am asking them if they make a wheel for my C8. Classic 5 spoke is very nice. The price is right!
A friend did this AI image for me of something close to my design. I am asking for all chrome with only the lug nut area and the spoke outline in black.

I’m using the center caps they are providing or if I don’t like them I’ll try to use the factory ones. Theirs look pretty cool I think. My wheels won’t be built for awhile. Probably at least a month according to their timeline. I changed my mind and went back to the machined. Will post when I get them!

Usually, OEM center caps don’t fit our wheels. At the client’s request, we can make exact replicas of the original caps to fit our wheels. But if really needed, we can also do a 3D scan of your cap and adjust the center bore to fit it.

Curious. Why is does it seem difficult for wheel manufacturers to make their wheels in factory sizes, using factory center caps and factory lug nuts?
Seems pretty simple.

Each car manufacturer has its own sizes and locking mechanisms for center caps. Even if the outer diameter is the same, there can be differences of fractions of a millimeter in the seating depth, clip thickness, or latch shape. Moreover, even within the same brand, center caps may vary depending on the car model and year of production. That’s why it’s nearly impossible to design a universal center bore that would fit all OEM caps.

With OEM lug nuts there are usually no problems, in most cases they fit, but there are exceptions too.

I always wondered this and that answer makes too much sense! Thanks
