I'm not sure I agree with your assessment. While I do think the potential to mod the EB will bring a lot of import buyers into the fold, I think the only thing that would keep enthusiasts away from the V6 right now is lack of options.Most enthusiasts will want an EB over the V6. Period. Your average buyer will still likely buy a regular V6 just because it's a Mustang...
I love my Ecoboost. I don't need to wind it out. It's a pleasure to drive and there is a ton of room under the hood, plus the potential already being unleashed is great.
Haven driven all three models now, I'd take the GT, then the V6. Am I an enthusiast? Yes, my current Mini Cooper S is highly modded (255 bhp) and I track the car. I just like the power delivery and the sound better on the V6. Nothing against the EB , but for ME , not my choice.
