Ford says Dark Horse has most powerful NA engine so far...this is incorrect!

Yeah this is reaching. It's the best of this very specific thing. Like GM's new Z06 they had to say most powerful NA V8 in a production car. Oh of course there are other NA motors that are more powerful and came in production cars and you may be able to buy one of those cars right now, but those engines aren't V8s. I wish they would just say it's good without trying to say it's the best when it obviously isn't the best. If it were the best, you wouldn't need all the wiggle words.

It features twin Stromberg NA-Y5-G carburetors,[2] dual magnetos and twin spark plugs making up a full dual ignition system,[2] and crossflow induction.[3] It displaces 1,100 cu in (18 l) and puts out well over 1,000 pound-feet (1,400 N⋅m) of torque from idle to 2,200 rpm. The factory-rated gross output was 500 hp (370 kW) at 2,600 rpm.
