Me too. Through no fault of theirs, the part was damaged due to poor packaging by FRPP. Customer service has been excellent and a replacement is in the works.

Installed the whole thing this morning.

No need to remove the wipers, the cowl will flex enough to get to the bolts. You do need to pull the battery cables though.

My strut brace had a couple little kicks in it. Luckily the were on the back side and since it's black easy to touch up.

I can see if one had a rougher time with UPS how it could easily be really torn up. They need to foam wrap both pieces.

Any additional fasteners shown in the directions (reused) required?

There are 4 bolts on the K brace that are re-used after you remove the plastic fake K brace.

The kit includes 4 nuts for the strut tower brace. You could only use two of them and reuse the two that come off, I just used the new ones since that's what the directions state.

Other than that it's all plastic fasteners that get put back.

So the kit has everything you need, and in the end you are left with two extra nuts and a plastic machete.

I should really add that if you plan to remove the sound tube do that first. It would be much harder to get the nut off the firewall once this is all installed.

I've tried three times to get the sound tube nut off the firewall with no success. Wrong tools and big hands = fail. I cut it as short as I could and taped off the end.

This is what I used to get the nut off mine. Just got the nut unseated then used the socket wrapped in tape for grip to turn it off by hand.

Installed mine tonight. The hardest part was getting the damn cowl push pins off. It's totally doable without removing the wipers.

Ratcheting stubby wrench made short work made short work of the nut on that long stud on the firewall. Of course it still tears up you arm to get it in there.

Anyone notice any more stiffness in ride over bumps or corners with this yet? How much does it weigh if anyone has scaled it? Thanks. :)
