So am I the only one that regularly runs in Normal mode? I do love sport mode but it just kills my fuel economy. I don't always like being an aggressive driver and have no problem passing people on the highway regardless of the mode. Then the days I do feel like being more aggressive I flip it into sport mode and get reminded why I don't feel the need for a tune yet.

Side note why does no one ever mention driving around in track mode instead of sport mode?

I run around in normal mode probably 80% of the time.

I ran in normal mode for a while after I got the FP tune... now, I run in sport mode 90% of the time. On the hwy I'm in normal mode 100% of the time though.

I run it in normal about half the time actually ...Chicago traffic is brutal so normal is more at home in gridlock....sport mode is fun though! I do not have the tune yet but curious to see how it smooths out some of the issues with stock.
It definitely smooths out the transmission on the auto... Ford Per definitely got that right.

I find the engine to run too high in traffic in the rev's when I lay off the throttle with sports mode. But fun as hell getting up to speed on a highway.

Hey guys, what did you get for your 0-60 and 1/8 mile times since your FP tune? (I'm sorry if this was discussed already...)

Mine is a manual base model and using the TrackAp I got 9.0 in the 1/8 and 5.6 for 0-60. I was wondering if your doing the same or better? I can't decide if i should put on bigger rims/tires because I'm blowing through 1st (and half of second), or if I just need to launch at a sweet spot (seems to be around 2200). Seems like it either falls on its face, or blows the tires off. (by the way, I'm in Florida where its been in the 70s and 80s. I know most of us are in colder climates where launching is a little harder)

Maybe I'm just being a newbie launching too hard, but figured it was worth asking you guys.

Besides a MBRP Race Cat-back, my eco is stock.

I got 5.6 and I'm in a vert.... and have terrible tires on the back. But I only ran the 0-60 a couple of times, sure I could bring it down. I have an auto as well.

I don't remember a lot of people running the 0-60... not sure why, maybe this tune does not bring that out in people. If you went against a tune+, unleashed, etc tuned car, you would more than likely not win.

I have 18" of snow on the ground and its -9 billion degrees. Not doing any 0-60 runs for about another 33 years when summer finally arrives in the sub-arctic.

I'm trying to wait out my 15 days until nice weather... at least that is what I'm hoping for!! Need it to start hitting some 60 degree + days so I can drop the top...

If it didn't require that CAI I would have already installed it. I love my MMR and hate that the new one doesn't even install cleanly. Plus, the dealers I've spoken with don't have a clue, say I need to buy it from them, won't price match, etc.

But if I get it I'll have until October 2018 on warranty... Decisions, decisions...

It doesn't require any specific intake, it only "requires" it in the sense that it all has to be installed and verified to keep the warranty - it doesn't take that long to do so put it on once and take it back off. Mine is coming right back out for the stock airbox as soon as my airaid tube gets here (which is today actually).

An intake is an intake, the car doesn't care what kind of tube it sucks air through or really how much airflow there is in the first place, only cares what the MAP sensor says afterwards.

Yea i guess its little early to ask. Just trying to figure out if its a tire issue or just that I need to play with my launch more.

Hmm perhaps by that time would could then get a 2050 Mustang with AWD, 22" wheels, 3 traction control modes and driverless steering to help you out. :D

After living through 50 winters of the crap , I now chuckle at it.
