Recently had the FP struck/shock system installed, when I go over speed bumps I get a squeak in both front and rear, I also get a consistent squeak coming from the rear passenger side, not sure if there’s something that can be sprayed to stop the squeak?

Any help is appreciated.

Did you install it or have someone else do it? My inexperienced guess would be the shock mount or maybe where the sway bar connects.

I didn’t install the struts/shocks, but I did install the sway bars.

It’s probably the swaybars squeaking. Did you grease them?

There wasn’t any grease provided, so I figured they didn’t need to be greased, due to watching a CJ Pony Parts vid where certain sway bars didn’t need greasing. I bet mine need greasing.

Did you tighten it all back to spec? Might be better to try that before you take it apart to grease.

Just put some grease on the bar at the edge of the blushings on all sides. That usually does the trick (it works itself in, or at least shuts up the squeaking). In my experience you shouldn't have to disassemble the mounts.

Be prepared to do the same every 6mo or so.

If the kit is the Ford Perfromance bars, they are rubber and shouldn't be an issue with just a bit of grease. If they are poly bushings, I would disassemble and use supergrease inside and clean the outside as that stuff is super sticky and every bit of road filth will stick like flypaper. I'm betting that like others have said, it's the bar bushings. Poly bushings need supergrease or you will be greasing a LOT.

This is enough to do the job. It's awesome stuff.

I appreciate all the help fellas, I’ll definitely grease my bushings on my sway bars.
