A buddy of mine is selling me his PP struts and shocks with HR Springs for 300.

Is there a noticeable difference in the PP struts and shocks vs the Base suspension?

Yes there is. They have significantly more damping. I would go elsewhere for springs though.

I second Brian on the PP shocks and struts. I have a premium and did the PP dampers and BMR minimum lowering springs SP763. A great combo.

I just switched from stock to PP setup. I had a much stiffer setup last year, and it was too harsh for DD. The PP setup is just right for me (I like stock ride height and look).

Don't buy aftermarket springs unless you want some drop.

If those are the H&R springs that basically dump the car >1.5" front and back, skip it. That's too much drop for OEM PP dampers, IMO. In terms of value against new pricing, yeah it's a good deal for $300 total. Depends on how low you want the car, though. Steeda Progressives work great on the dampers you have right now.

Gotcha. Seems like an alright deal. Still could be a little on the rought side without aftermarket shocks. Rather see you spend money on what YOU want, not a deal that shows up. If it’s what you want...

Anything is better than base GT Struts/Springs/Shocks.
