I believe that's an older version, because mine (and pretty much every single one I've seen) does not have that hole.

Ford Performance seems to be on a parts commonality streak right now. I bet this was also updated when the GT500 predator motor was built.

2017 GT350 now gone to a great home.
Doesnā€™t the predator have the built in unit with the crankcase oil return line? I only have the two holes in my FP separator

I don't remember there being a hole for a wire harness. Your image isn't loading, here is a screenshot from Amazon:

The hole In that pic is covered up by the wire harness installed back into it

Mine didnā€™t have the hole. Would have been a nice touch, but meh, itā€™s inconsequential.

Looks to be external. This OS is also included when you purchase the CF Track Pack option....

Just drill the hole or leave wire as is.

I have an early one and it has the hole. Apparently, the hole was eliminated because it weakened the bracket. The mounting tab that curves off to the left in the picture would break off where the hole is, apparently. Anyway, the newer ones don't have it any more. Mine does and it's fine.

The first one they sent me had broken off in shipment. Was definitely a weak point in the mount. Donā€™t drill a new hole ā€” you donā€™t need it.

I like to disassemble things.

This is 100% correct.

Thank the Ford engineer behind the part, Ron Ewert, for listening and implementing a running change to the part that made it stronger.

The hole was eliminated (not long after the separator was introduced) to mitigate fracture issues.
