Yes, It would be nice to know if there are any forum members here who work at the flat rock plant to get some insight on things.

It's possible that Ford and the Union prevents them from getting on the forums to discuss the inner workings or problems of the factory and assembly.

I am retired from ford SLAP and this was never an issue
Ford cannot restrict you from forums or discussing what is happening at the plant
We only knew what was coming less than a month in advance
If you go to blueovalnews you can find somebody there

UK Mustangs.......and I assume the same would apply to Mustangs headed to other European countries, are undercoated in Belgium. No sure what you mean by "get room seal" though?

As far as I know none of the ford vehicles come from the factory with any rust protection.

As I said above, UK Mustangs (so I assume all those that are headed to Europe) receive rust prevention when they get off the boat in Belgium (Zeebrugge).

This is the first Ford that
I have owned in over 10 years. Is rust a problem with late model Fords or Mustanges ?

I don't know what Ford does to protect their vehicles from corrosion, but Mustangs are driven in Ontario year-round and if the salt corrosion here doesn't destroy them then they will sure as hell be safe in Europe.

Full disclosure - I don't drive my Mustang in winter, largely because *I don't need to* (I can afford a winter beater). However, I see plenty of Mustangs driving around town, they are a popular car in my city, and they seem to withstand the corrosion reasonably well.
