Hi,

Yesterday I purchased a 7 year, 100k mileage Ford Premium Care warranty. I'm hoping it'll cover all the horror stories I've read on this forum. I just picked up my Roush Stage 2 a few weeks ago and I sleep better with the warm blanket of a full warranty.

Does anyone have an experience when the premium care warranty didn't apply?

Thanks,
Rick

Your insane if you think ford is going to cover your drive train with a blower on it. And i have to say, i would agree with them in this case.

You likely voided your warranty with the roush kit. I passed on the extended warranty as I'm debating on eventually going roush or hellion and knew it would void the warranty. You should have a short warranty from roush, however, as long as you got installed at an authorized shop.
Call your dealership, ask them, if it is voided see if you can have the remainder for your extended warranty refunded.

For the record a 2017 stage 2 doesn't come supercharged. I verified with the Roush website, and my friend works for Ford dealer that sells Roush vehicles. And stage 2 comes with a factory 3 year/ 36,000 mile warranty.

I too purchased the premium care warranty. I'll assume it has the same do and dont's as the factory warranty.

Is the Stage 2 only cosmetic? I thought it had a few engine modifications...? If it's only cosmetic, then the OP should be good-to-go.

Yep, stage 2 is the purty parts, wheels, and coilovers. Stage 3 is supercharged.

Oh yeah, I knew that the SC didn't appear until Stage 3 (or "Jackhammer"), I just always thought Stage 2 had a tune, CAI, and what-not for some reason. Guess not, though! :p

Yeah I had to make a phone call and get educated. LOL I assumed it would have a tune and CAI. Stage 2 is set up to handle, Roush claims 1.07 on the skidpad

I am definitely insane, but my car does not have a blower on it. Its a kitted up GT.

My car is a factory Roush. I would expect the warranty to cover it.

Fords power packs are 50 state legal.
Good to know, Roush cai, and all of the others I have seen, are not allowed in Cali. Need that precious carb sticker.
