I thought you had to be crazy, so I just went and configured the same plan I just paid $1,155 for earlier today, it's now $2,960. I made my purchase just short of 10 hours ago.
I am crazy, but that's besides the point. :D

I kinda almost wished I bought the plan when I first saw it. But, besides being crazy, I'm a horrible procrastinator.

You take and lump all the chronicity of issues that Fords having with issues involving their products, and between the sudden increases with the ESP's and parts since last week, plus the changes at the top of their management, not to mention the disappearance of the customer service girl they used to have here on the forums, it's obvious they are under some stress.

I have FMPP on my GT350, they cover brake rotors that are 300$ each, and as you know they cant be machined, have to be replaced. I learned the other day you get unlimited wiper blade replacements, ford put a newly designed ones for me
Can you show me where you saw coverage for brake rotors? Nothing I've seen has specifically mentioned it. They do however mention brake pads, which is relatively cheap. If they really did cover an expensive item like brake rotors, it would have been on the brochure.

I guess I was fortunate to buy both the maintenance and extended warranty over a year ago. Only paid $1075 for 8yr/60k/$0 deductible. The price for this option is now $3090. That's nuts! I knew it was a god damn bargain price when I bought it, but wow! The $3k price is inline with what I'd expect for a car with the Voodoo motor.

Im glad you asked, its under "8 Wear Items", the beautiful part is if you live in Canada you can have these done anywhere in the states and vice versa.

This is the brochure for the US:

I guess I'll find out when the time comes if they'll cover my rotors. I'm just happy they include clutch discs. The plan basically costs the same as a normal oil change, except now it includes almost every wear item. Definitely worth the money.

I opted to forgo buying a plan. I looked at all the options and associated coverages. My only real concern is needing to replace the motor due to a catastrophic failure. I figure if it’s going to happen odds are it will be within the first 5 years, and with that I’m covered with the factory warranty.

hmmm, "normal wear"? That might be a sticking point.

Ford ESP vs Zurich Comprehensive? Talked to my dealer today and they recoed the Zurich as it's basically 1/2 the price of Ford premium with the new price increase. Anyone use Zurich and have any issues?

Just added the 8 yr / 36k mile PremiumCARE with 0 deductible for mine for $1005 through my selling dealer. Fair savings from the new Flood quote.

Flood still wants $3,090 for your coverage.
Koch wants $2,860 for your coverage.

Contract says Premium Care, I've asked my guy if I can post his name and number.
