Looking at the Ford ESP brochures trying to determine all the differences between ExtraCARE and PremiumCARE. Other than all of the electronics/tech, emissions, and safety stuff it looks like there's only a handful of mechanical coverage difference, and from what I can tell here's the only additional coverage PremiumCARE covers:

Transmission release hubs and bearings
Transmission linkage
Electronic Power Assisted Steering
Steering Column
Steering Shaft
Wheel Bearings
All rear suspension components
MacPherson Struts front & rear

The one that confuses me was the MacPherson struts because in the fine print it also says that it does not cover shock absorbers. Does anybody know if PremiumCARE coverage actually covers the struts/shocks or not? In my case specifically I have a GT350 with magneride if that makes any difference.

PremiumCare is an exclusionary coverage, ExtraCare is not. Meaning the ExtraCare will only cover the parts they list. Premiumcare will have a list of non covered items, the rest is covered.
