So I've noticed that everyone is talking about belt driven induction. What about exhaust driven induction. What are the pros and cons of putting a set of twins under the hood of your daily driver?

Increase the torque a Coyote makes by 60% and what do you have? Every stock long block blown Coyote.

Increase the RPM that the Coyote runs at by 60% and what do you have? Scrap metal.

RPM's kill motors.

Why what? I'm not sure I follow.

Too much boost is when you run out of ocatane or break the motor. Otherwise it's just right.:D

You just gained cool points in my book.

What in the world are you talking about?
How does that math even make sense?

This could be the funniest thing I have read all day.
Hopefully nobody actually believed that statement.

I don't know about our competitors, however
We don't add any RPM to a coyote motor.
We are power, and lots of it, in a nice usable manor.
Our customers like setting records, not making clouds of smoke. :)

No one spins them to 10K because it breaks em.
because it's not needed on my application, but you can build it for whatever you want

I'm shifting at 8000 running low 8's,

but, my friends 3v is spinning over 10k and has lasted for years at that.

I'm trying to think how many pd's I've seen in the winners circle the last 10 years at nmra / nmca events.....

Beefcake and Procharger have helped me make my decision. I'm going with a centri unit from procharger with and upgraded head unit.

I mean no disrespect and appreciate your input but what does this have to do with daily driven cars. The point of this thread was to get advice on what methods and amounts of boost are safe and drive able in everyday driving situations. Not 6 grand hole shots from every stoplight and NMRA championships. I was really wanting some advice on what can be driven comfortably in traffic and if a person wanted to take it to the strip then they could do that too without having to worry about premature engine failure and things like blow by and such.

This is the factory automatic transmission, driving over an hour each way to the track, pump e85 from the grocery store. 100% street trim.

Back up camera, a/c, heat, sync, etc...

Foot braking the car.......

[ame]

100% street trim, last pass of 2012

here is 2013 with a larger head unit, again, 100% full street trim. 8.7's, same way the car was driven at that time everyday!
