Been thinking about these for my PP2 also. Figure for $1,000, I can sell my Ford Performance PP2 wheels for close to that and maybe almost break even. Decisions, decisions...

Levittown Ford sells the PP2 style wheel for the Mach for $1300 without the TPS. Its amazing what they are selling the HP wheels for as well as those ugly as Fook 5 star wheels.

I honestly don't like black wheels at all unless they have a polished surface/lip. At this price, refinishing the stock wheels seems like a no brainer so you can keep the stock black set stored away (in case you resell) and redo another set the way you want.

And since these are cast, I'm willing to bet if you had the time and enormous amounts of patience, you could polish these to amazing levels.

Yep, some lighter form of a metallic silver so they'd pick up the light a little better than the matte Magnetic color on them.

Can be used for Boat Anchor if needed...according to the documentation they weight 1.5lbs less for front wheel and 2lbs for the rear over the standard Mach1 wheel, which means still in the 30+lb range.

I’ll say this we all would like to have cash it would take to buy a super light weight forged wheel. Which for my car would have to be custom made.As far as I know aftermarket wheel manufactures don’t make a wheel with the same specs or really close to fit a PP2. So for me this is a good option. I already have a set of cup 2’s to put one them.

Thinking about masking off the machined lip of the 5-spoke winter set and painting them gloss black, not liking the matte gray. The inside is black already so should be an easy no-brainer appearance upgrade, black should look much better with the iconic silver.
