I see several post concerning the fog lights in the grill. I really like the look of the 1968 Fastback grill with the round fog lights. I want to get something similar for my 2018 Ecoboost.

I suggest you consider placement in the lower grille. Small round lights in flat spots of lower grille would blend better. Round lights in upper grille will fight every design feature of the front end of the Mustang.

My next Mustang will be a 2022. I got factory fogs on my 2011 and 2016 and added them to my 1994, 1998 & 2004 as I do a lot of night driving and these DO make a difference.

I can't believe that the 2018-20 fogs being "tiny lights built into the plastic turn signals" are as functional as the earlier stand alone lamps with GLASS lens's (2011 & 2016 are anyway). Being where they are now they are higher up than before, and the lower the better with fog lamps.

I'll be ordering a 101A which if still the same in 2022 as 2020 will not come with fogs, so I'll be wanting to add them somehow.

Hopefully there will be something available.

Doug

I did consider that area, but the lights will have to be about 2.5" to 3" diameter, pretty small. Thanks for the suggestion. :like:

If you are comfortable with a bit of fab work, you can always get an extra 2018-2020 upper grill, then get hold of a 5th gen upper grill with the driving lights. Cut the driving lights out of the 5th gen grill then cut out what you need on the 2018 grill to make them fit and bond them in. Just make sure if you go this route to get the angles right so they will shine where needed. The rest is wiring.

I have 3 cars and all of them have fog lights, the Mustang is the strongest of them, even been higher and smaller than the other 2 cars.
