Nope, they use an adjustment form. I doubt they will keep the hood, everyone thinks it will get replaced. When they gave you the $3500 for the Mustang damages, you didn't sign a release form stating to the effect that you settled and release the Ins. Co. from any additional claims if the needed repairs are found to be more costly than what they paid out... did ya?
I hope not...
it is not common practice to have "releases" on first part claims. the policy is a contract between you and the insurance company that outlines the obligations. there is no liability so nothing to release anyone from. When they gave you the $3500 for the Mustang damages, you didn't sign a release form stating to the effect that you settled and release the Ins. Same fenders, they did not get replaced, only painted. To do that, they removed the 5.0. I kinda like the look without it though. I'm stuck with it as there are two holes for the mounting pins. A little fill and could have had them go away. Oh well.If this body shop couldn't order the correct fenders for your GT, I wonder what their attention to detail was regarding the rest of the repair work that was performed...8k worth.
Just saying...
Lol. That is classic. Its god trying to tell you that you should've gotten the performance pack
Very sorry you're having to go through this with your sweet Mustang, but it might be time to clear out the garage. What I hate to see is a garage full of junk and a nice car getting pelted with hail.
Funny so many are concerned about my garage! :shrug:Very sorry you're having to go through this with your sweet Mustang, but it might be time to clear out the garage.
