On generator power in Lakeland. The winds were quite strong. So far only looks like minor damage. Will know more in the AM. Good luck to everyone !

All my toys and property are fine... just tons of foliage debris everywhere even in the bottom of my pool... lol. A friend's parked pair of Cobras was also near me since it was safer and not a flood zone here..... no damage. Brokeb trees and bracnhes everywhere and still no power... so have to grill some steaks instead. 
The east coast got lucky on this one... but it's sad the west side plus Key Largo to Key West got severely hammered.

Reporting in ok. East coast not so lucky. Big dune erosion, chimney cap went for a 2 block frisbee ride, no power, soffits blown out, flooding, etc....
Running off a generator, however living a civil life while others are breaking into houses and the like.
I think [MENTION=18082]EF300[/MENTION] was spot on to include shotgun shells in his pre hurricane shopping list.
Lots of gas, food etc. I hope my brethren are set.

No power is a bitch. Gas tastes bad sucking it out of suburban for generator fuel. Chainsaws and floodwaters get the attention. IPA makes up for it until the sun goes down and the bugs return. You guys enjoy your TV and we'll catch you later ...

Very fortunate to still have power. A lot of people in my surrounding area are currently without power. Me and a friend were out today helping out as best we could clearing the roads of debris.

live in rural area lots trees down so lots road clearing, low spots flooded. Took 3hrs to get from gainesville to ocala due blocked roads tried 5 different routes. Finally ended up helping a crew pull trees from road with f350 crewcab most guys had just light 4x4. Mine comes in at about 8000#. So when they were spinning I'd come up and double hook. One guy had jacked mudder, I dragged him all over the road. Finally snapped a what looked like 5 inch strap. Later a uparmored sheriff skid steer showed up. Day before the storm starter had died but found one in ocala

In Miami, I'm north, no power, and street looks like a river. Heck my front yard looks like a new lake. On the generator, tree's down everywhere and a few hit up against the house, but all is fine. A lot of cleanup coming.

No generators, mine quit working
Roads cleared of debris on major roads
Drivers ignoring 4 way stops at intersections where lights are out
It's not paradise
Can't think of taking 350 out too much stuff on the roads
But nobody hurt and house damage minimal, trees a different story
Hope others are safe as well

This pretty much sums it up for us in Rockledge/Cocoa. Been running on a generator and a hotspot from my phone. East Coast is due to have power restored by end of Weekend. Under a boil water order so I have a pool with plenty of cholrine ;) Note to self, do not be on the east side of the eye in FLA.
At this point, 3 days of 24hour runtime I and very impressed with this GENERATOR We bought it post Matthew during a parking lot sale at Harbor Freight. I have it hardwired backfeeding my 40AMP range breaker in my panel. It is running everything (except the stove) plus a neighbor is running a bunch of stuff via extension cord. We have A/C, Pool Pump running (Currently a way to stay 'clean') and it hasn't skipped a beat. Of course we are running BG 5W-30 in it
Still have gas lines to keep it running but that is a second world problem to the people who lost everything.We are finally beginning to ship again today.
