I ordered the ford all weather mats withe car. They were not there. The dealer did order them for me, it took two weeks in the dead of winter to arrive. Actually I think they were sitting in the parts dept. did the dealer detail guys steal the original mats, did they just get lost, did Ford just fail to send what I had paid for?

car comes with 2 standard front mats, and the all weathers, if ordered with the vehicle, will still be in a box. my dealer had to grab it from the back at delivery.

My EB came with standard mats on front. Purchased oem all weathers. While the all weathers definitely make it easier to keep the car cleaner than the carpeted mats, I would recommend weather techs (haven't tried anything else other than weathertechs or oem all weathers)

Had weathertechs in my 2005 pathfinfer, when I went to trade in for a '14 pathfinder, the carpets looked brand new.

I have oem mats on my '15 EB and '14 pathfinder, and I find that oems have almost no lip at the edges and they certainly do not go all the way to edges.

No other mat will ever go in my car but weather tech, no matter the conditions, time, day or driving style, it's the one to have.

My wife bought me the Lloyds front and rear mat set (official licensed Ford product) - black with the silver embroidered Mustang horse in center of mat.

They look awesome - but won't be going in until after winter... I'll use my factory mats for shitting up, the Lloyds will be used during spring/summer and for car shows etc.

So I've been in a couple of trucks and cars with weathertech formed mats and I wasn't that impressed with the fit. It was like they made the mold too small and it didn't hug the floor so they could slide around, also they were made from smooth slippery plastic which didn't help with the sliding. Wondering how the fit is for the Mustang? The ones I have for my other vehicle are made by a company called Catch All and they fit like a glove and are carpeted on the top side except where your heels touch. Are there any other nice fitting Mustang mats that have carpet on the top side?

I've other the husky liners too. Ordered off amazon for cheap. They fit awesome, way better than the weather techs that I've had in 3 other vehicles. They seem to be more flexible / softer so they can conform to the car better.

I had the weather techs in my last two cars, very good. But I am not crazy about the plastic material. While they do protect well it's very heard to really get clean. So I went with a carpet mat for the Mustang.

Stupid question about Lloyds. I got a set of the 50th mats for Christmas. Why do they put the circular snaps on the passenger side?

EDIT: I just discovered why...My daughter bought me 2013-2014 50th anniv. floor mats. Oh well, the drivers side fits better than the stock mats. My heel no longer get under the top edge when I press in the clutch pedal.

I bought husky liners. I just hate sucking dirt out of carpet.
I have husky liners in my FJ too. Keeps melted snow and dirt from going everywhere. They are deep.
The reason I choose husky over weathertech is husky is cheaper and covers the dead pedal all the way.
