What's the point of rear mats for the mustang? Is anyone really going to sit back there? I feel bad for them if they are.
The back seats are actually not too bad for short trips for kids and even (small) adults. And you need to protect that carpet back there! Also, I need to step on that spot when I put my little girl in the baby seat. Yes, occasionally I have a baby seat in the back. It fits!

I always buy all weather mats in all of my vehicles.
I just don't understand why cars have carpet mats. It's so weird.
Not just the carpet mats but any carpet.Who thinks it's a good plan to stick cheap carpet on the floor where you put your dirty, sandy, wet, muddy feet?
I buy either Weathertech or Husky weatherbeaters. the Huskies are just as good and stay in place a bit better. They also cost a little less. I like them both though.

I have Huskies in my FJ cruiser and they are great. The floor in the FJ cruiser is flat so water would slosh from front all the way to the back. Very nasty and factory mats don't hold water for shit.
I think I am gonna wait for Huskies to have the 15-16 Mustang mats available.

I have a set of Lloyds mats front and rear with the pony design. The quality of them makes the factory mats look like trash.

I ordered the Lloyd's set from CJPP. The tri-bar pony logo and the matching trunk mat.

As in, why they need them at all?

My son will sit back there from time to time. I don't want his dirty shoes messing up the carpet.

As-in, thinking they are not needed. Yes, kids and adults can and do use the backseat.

I drop the seats down to put my dog crate or other cargo in the back and take one step in the car. Another good reason to have rear mats.

Where I live, water, mud and slush are rarer than on pre-muad'dib Arrakis. So carpet all the way.

Passengers also like it so they can take their shoes off and make fists with their toes at the end of the "flight".

Just necro passing thru researching if my car came with rear mats. I had some diamond quilted mats in it for more than a year and went to replace them with the originals and couldn't find any rears. Now I know why; apparently there weren't any.
