The Pirelli's are standard on the base & prem GT. Looks like the EB with 18's have the Goodyear.
According to @Fordservice, they are saying the base and prem GT wheels are Goodyear, not Pirelli.

On all the 18 in wheels on GTs I've seen, they've been Pirelli. That's also referenced in the Wheels and Tires subforum.

Gt premiums and ones with the performance package are pirelli pzeros

I wouldn't say it's that deep
Sorry... should have said very deep for a 4 cylinder. Still nowhere near the 5.0.

Not a fan of pirelli... wears too quick along with goodyear... probably going to be bridgestone or generals depending on wear rating when I wear factory ones down plus they will be all seasons high performance versus only summer (too soft comp)

My first set of Eagle F1s are almost down to the wear bars after 19k miles :(

...I don't exactly drive like a grandma, though. :D

Bridgestone RE050A's are among the fastest wearing street tires I've ever seen with a UTQG of 140 and lasting at best 8,000-10,000 miles when driven normally on anything resembling a performance car. If you want a certain aspect of your tire's performance to choose by brand as they all have losers in a specific category.

If you want both performance and long life(relatively) I'd recommend the Continental ExtremeContact DW. Mine have near 20,000 miles and still have about 6/32nds of tread remaining. After that you are looking at performance all-seasons like Michelin Pilot A/S 3.

I had RE050A Run Flats as standard equipment on my 135i and despised them. They were OK in the dry, but not exceptionally grippy. They had the worst ride quality of any tire I have ever owned, but then they were also the only Run-flats. I know it's not what they were designed for, but I got stuck having to drive in snow on them once and they could not move the car on very nearly flat surface with 2 inches of snow on the ground. There was an up-slope of maybe 2 degrees at most. I could literally push the car up the driveway, but it would not move under it's own power.

I have the Conti DWs on my 540i right now, and absolutely love them. They are somehow both pretty serviceable in snow, and very nearly as grippy as s summer only tire. Unless you autocross or drag race, you are unlikely to notice much difference in grip. They also seem to be lasting pretty well. Highly recommended.

I live in the Midwest (Nebraska) the temperature is crazy, Fall & Winter, one day could be 80° the next 28°. I want a set of tires providing me grip when I decide to have a little 'FUN' like on the On/Off Ramps & Twisty Roads. I also don't wanna worry about the temperature (45° Summer Tires) causing my tires to not do whatever the cold does to them.

Why does Ford deliver the Mustang with the Summer Only Tires when so many are gonna face sub 45° days-->:shrug:

I asked and was answered (think it was you) but forgot to save the info...Is the 'BEST' Tire The "Michelin Pilot A/S 3" for my situation, I don't care about cost?

I'm currently planning on keeping summers on the stock rims, when I get my hands on some other rims wanna put on all seasons for Fall & Winter.

everything else on the mustang are all seasons and will fit your needs

So my 20" optional will come with summer tires? mmm, i was under the impression only PP came with those. Hope it doesn't get too bad this winter.
