Great photos. I was just at Sebring in FL last weekend doing a DE.
Did you Experience the hood wave/wobble at over 80 mph. I hit 120 and the hood was moving enough to be distracting.I have the same car. Magnetic PP with recaros.
I did not notice the hood moving at all.

How did you prep the car prior to the day?

So this last weekend I took my 2015 GT to Laguna Seca, for a Hooked on Driving track day. I am 58 years young, and have been taking driving schools and participating in track days since my early 20's.
This was my first track event in my GT, and it was also my first event in the rain!
Nice. How good did you find this car to be in the rain?

Do I see a bit more negative camber in your car's future?

I had a fluid service done at the dealer and basically check my tire pressure's before I went on track that was it.

I was very impressed with the handle characteristics of the Mustang on the track the entire day. As the track was drying when there were sections of wet and dry the car could get a little hairy when the tires cooled off going through a patch of water. Picking a higher gear the normal breaking a little earlier for a corner and being very light on the throttle and steering were the best ways to get around the track.

I just got a set of Steeda camber plates in today. I ran my GT 100% stock. it only had 998 miles on it before going out on Sebring.
The edges of the front tires are not good.
It really needs camber.

Hey, that second corrected picture looks familiar! Would make a great avatar photo!

Love Laguna Seca as well, and that first turn past the bridge is a real gut-check. I think I may hit about 105-110 in my Z, but it took quite a while to get the courage to keep my foot planted over the hill and down the other side.

Car looks great! Thanks for the review and photos.

Last two photos I promise. These are the skip pad at the track. I had the car in Track Mode with the traction control off. I tried first gear and 2nd. The odd thing was that the traction control still worked, and would not let me get the car to fare out of shape. It was still a blast, and I would do it again.

If it was 'Track Mode' that you put it in, the stability control system (AdvanceTrak) is still functional, but at reduced sensitivity. IOW, it's letting you 'play' a little but steps in once it's decided that you've pushed it far enough.

You need to hold one of the traction control buttons for like 6 or 8 seconds to fully disable the AdvanceTrak.

I know, I did that and there was a message on the screen that said it was disabled.
