So new to the Mustang world...picking up a 2016 GT w/pp and 401a tomorrow.

So far from my research it seems a steeda clutch spring is a must do(I noticed the lack of pedal feel)

Also seems this car suffers from the same problem my 08 WRX had..marshmallows for bushings in the IRS and the trans mount. Seems like a stiffer Trans mount and bushing inserts are the way to go to help that problem(My 08 was super squirmy and had back wheel hop till I put in some whiteline diff and subframe inserts plus the notchy subaru 5speed was bad till I upgraded that trans mount). Thinking the Whiteline Trans mount and either Steeda or BMR for the rear diff issue.

Exhaust is a must do but thats not something I can get and avoid deadly levels of wife aggro since I am just getting the car lol.

Any suggestions beyond those? Thanks

If you spend anytime under hood, definitely get a set of Redline tuning hood struts (or whichever you prefer).

Oil catchcan also. Plenty of posts on the benefits.

Then get an electric cutout. Exhaust when you want it and back to stock exhaust with a press of a button.

I would say the Redline hood struts, Catch Can, and clutch spring...and a resonator Delete

Steeda Clutch spring #1.

BMR Cb005 or Steeda IRS subframe support kit & subframe braces

Corsa touring axle-back will add a healthy amount of volume and a great tone with zero drone and will keep the interior remarkably quiet when you're not in the throttle. You can always add their double X-pipe or a resonator delete later to have the Sport catback. This isn't cheap but very worth it.

Performance Pack GT, I would do the following personally.

Lowering Springs. Our SP080 kit is the bees knees for a PP GT.

Cradle Kit with FRPP Toe Knuckle Bearings. If you get our CB005 and the Ford Racing M-5A460-M it will be the best $270 you've ever spent on a performance car.

Axle back Exhaust....I just put the Pypes Touring AB with black tips on my '16 PPGT and couldn't recommend it more. The price, fitment, looks and sound is EXACTLY what I was looking for.

Beyond that you could do the Mishimoto intake tube for $135 and a high flow filter....or a CAI.

And then a tune if you're willing to do so. A tune and intake upgrade is close to about 400rwhp and the tune makes the car much better. I use Palm Beach Dyno for the tune.

I have basically the mods above thus far on mine and I drive it 100 miles a day and am very happy with it.

Happy Modding.

Steeda trans bushing is a great bang for the buck.

BMR SP080, CB005...works well with my PP

And i wouldn't call this one inexpensive exactly, but my favorite must have mod is the MGW shifter

BMR cb005 lockout will eilminate that wheel hop
I'd do springs while you're at it and get an alignment.

Agree with the others on catch can and steeds clutch spring

I did the BMR lock-out & J&M subframe aluminum bushings last week and the handling is greatly improved, no alignment needed. Mechanic stated: Those don't install in alignment holes. The subframe was not moved for install, no need for alignment. Pony handles much better now in the twisty's.

supercharger kit. put it on a zero percent credit card and make small payments on it. technically that's cheap :ninja: (but if you can't afford it with cash, that's a terrible idea)
