Hello, I have a 2018 GT PP with active exhaust/magna ride and I just wanted to share my experiences thus far with my mods.
First off, these are the mods that I purchased and installed:
QA1 Carbon Fiber DriveShaft - https://www.cjponyparts.com/qa1-dri...-approved-manual-transmission-gt-2018/p/DS50/
Steeda Clutch Spring - https://www.cjponyparts.com/steeda-...-lb-in-manual-transmission-2015-2018/p/CBSS3/
MagnaFlow Resonated X Pipe - https://www.cjponyparts.com/magnafl...stainless-steel-clamp-in-gt-2015-2018/p/XPG1/
Driveshaft Experience:
This is a carbon fiber drive shaft supporting up to 1500 hp and is about half the weight of the stock two piece drive shaft. I can definitely feel the acceleration difference and have never felt so much acceleration before especially in first and second gears. The car just leaps forward and feels amazing. No vibration issues at all.
Clutch Spring Experience:
Everyone who owns a manual 2018 knows that the feel of the clutch is completely vague and linear it's hard to get a feel for where the engagement point is. This clutch spring made all the difference and I would recommend it to anyone who owns a manual. Much better overall feeling and you know exactly where the engagement/disengagement point is.
Exhaust Experience:
I came from owning a 2013 Mustang GT which had a resonator delete pipe and a GT500 axle back. Since this sounded perfect to me I decided to replace my 2018 resonator with the same delete pipe. Big mistake. Ford nailed the sound from the factory and this will only appeal to those who love EXTREMELY loud raspy exhaust notes. The resonated x pipe that I bought returned me to factory levels but also produced a much more deep tone.
Hope this helps someone out there!
