I guess I'm the only one who'd do exhaust first, but that's probably because I don't do any kind of racing.
See my post! You are not the only one! I am pretty confident that you can find a decent sounding setup for the EB that won't cost more then $300-400. The stock exhaust is VERY restrictive on the EB. It will also be one of the most apparent mods to others on the road that will make your car stand out.

Problem is finding one that sounds good.. Not the EB strong point.. Easy to make tons of power with Tunes and bolt ons with the i4 Turbo not so easy to make it sound good. Key i think if you go that route first is to find the deepest low tone free flowing exhaust as possible... you definitely dont want too end up with an exhaust that gives it that hollow crapy raspy sound.. MagnaFlow catbacks seem like they sound the best for the EB in the online vids but i haven't heard it in person so take that with a grain of salt.. If you want an amazing sound from your EB go with a CAI , Down pipe and blow off valve it will make the Turbo louder while keeping the exhaust quite. If you go that route that is..

Well this is true... It is a 4 cylinder. The key is to find the right balance of rasp and deep tone. To deep and you are going to have drone and are at risk of it sounding like a fart can. To raspy and you have the opposite problem. It would be to loud and obnoxious and would not fit a mustang. I think what dragonacc is doing with is exhaust is going to be almost perfect. Resonated tips to take out the high rpm rasp while also having a resonated mid section to tame the drone and volume.

It may be restrictive but you can get huge gains with a tune and stock exhaust, replace the exhaust and have a loud slowish car, or get a tune an intake have a fast good sounding car.The induction turbo sounds are quite nice:cheers:
rice burning fart can not so much.

Well its actually not totally because it has 4 cylinders.. its because its an inline 4.. If it was a boxer 4 like the Subaru WRX it would sound totaly different and better. Im going to wait a bit for my Ecoboost to do exhaust till i hear the perfect combo.. till them im gonna do the rest of the Performance upgrades some time in the summer and hopefully buy then some one will have a good exhaust system. Im still interested to hear the MagnaFlow in person tho..

FYI, you did ask us what we would do!?!?!?

Regardless, you have about $700 remaining after tint...Honestly, I would wait for the Ford Racing tune to avoid warranty issue being such a new car.

That said, I'd put the money to the side for a mini-vacation/road trip. Nothing like a vacation for yourself in your new car...

...please swipe your card for the $29.95 + 4.95 (processing fees) for consultation.

FYI he asked what mods we would do, not for our financial advice.

When it comes to exhausts you gotta hear them in person. Its almost pointless listening to videos. I've tried making my own videos but you really don't get any true idea of what it sounds like by listening to them. It makes wonder if I would really like some of the others that I've heard that I thought I wouldn't like based on videos

I would just call Adam at MAP and just say take my money. Cobb Accessport with their tune looks great and is an absolute win/win, plus their intake is beautiful. I really need to get back to the States so I can get my EB...

I just did something similar:

$240 - MAP cold air kit
$240 - Eibach pro kit
$60 - American Muscle light tint kit
$150 - Roof and emblem dip in black - local company

300 saved for future mods.
