I would get this as a temporary fix for the quiet exhaust and later on get a cat-back, but since this requires cutting on the cat side then I wouldn't want to go this route. If I did that, I would then have to rig up the cat-back later on by clamping or welding in the center location where the cat-backs are designed to connect...but it looks like a great product that I am sure many will be interested in!

What Flex pipe are you talking about? From my understanding the only flex pipe on the exhaust system is Manifold to Cat

The drives side pipe after the cat but before the resonator has a flex pipe welded into it. It necks down to 2" on the inlet and outlet of that flex pipe. Here's a couple of pics.

So, it looks like you made it to where someone could still add a catback to this after getting this mod. As in replace your x/h pipe with another companies when the time comes they want to upgrade to a full system. I was a little concerned with the replacement of the flexpipe and all, and though it was all one piece. From the pictures it looks like at least two sections; the x/H pipe and the bits leading to the cats.

Am I seeing things correctly?

Why not just add a Axel Back down the road and then you have your own Catback for much less.

Some companies like SW for example have other things going on besides the mufflers at the tip to enhance sound

It also looks like you can skip removing the flex pipe if you don't want to cut into your exhaust anymore than ya have to. At least from the pictures.

Our setup cuts the stock pipes 7" behind the resonator. So as long as the catback you want to run will hook up to the stock exhaust after that connection you'll be good to go.

Maybe a silly question but is there just a Flex pipe delete? I will be adding a 3" catback that replaces the resonator but uses the factory connections. I hate the neck down on the flex pipe. is there a way to get a clamp in pipe for that or is this just a simple muffler shop deal and they can cut it out and weld in a section of 2.5" or whatever it is?
