2. If the key fob completely dies in the cup holder is a flap. You open it. Drop the dead fob in and the car will be able to read the dead key allowing you tot start the car.
That's pretty cool. We won't need to extract the physical key hidden in the fob.

Thanks for the pictures and info.

Same thing in my Fusion....there's nothing to push or pull, it's just a small light that indicates whether or not the doors are locked. It lights up when the doors are locked.

DO WANT!!!

I think the 4 banger turbo will get the respect it deserves once the tuner crowd gets creative. I can see the EB getting into GT performance territory with simple bolt-ons. For me it wasnt a debate though. I never considered the EB because Turbo 4s and 6s is what I've always driven and I went for the new (to me) American muscle experience...
I recognize that it's a bigger than average I4, and being factory boosted makes it easy to add power, but the factory turbo isn't that big and it's already pushing 15 psi. Getting to 400 might be pretty easy, but getting much beyond that is going to take a bigger turbo.

Great job, Brent302! Fantastic detail shots. You got exactly what guys have been discussing...but no exclusive shot of the soft-touch upper door panels? Awww. No biggie, though I wanted Dark Saddle, I don't mind Black Leather if it's looking as premium as you've described. Your impressions and work are much appreciated. Thanks!

I like that we keep hearing (I said it too) that the pics do it no justice. No one, NO ONE, who has seen it in person has not said that.
I'll say it, the car doesn't look any better in person than it does in the pictures.

I saw a kona blue 50th anniv & a silver GT at the Shelby show in Tulsa.

Meh. Wasn't impressed. The front is nice. The rear would look better if it wasn't a single sweeping curve. I like the straight section of the rear bumpers of the 10-14s better. The interior still does not look like a cohesive design.

The worst part is the trunkline breaks right through those sexy buttresses flanking the rear window. Why would you cut the trunk through that sexy line?

Fix the rear bumper, change the trunk line & put the Ford GT interior in it & I'll buy it. I'm eagerly awaiting the next re-design.

Thank you for the detail shots.

I had no idea this curve between the front guard and the bonnet even existed from previous pictures. No wonder everyone is saying how much better the car looks in the metal despite looking so damn good in photos!

It's crazy how well they blended the panels but the circled area is the soft touch upper. When you look at it it looks identical to the hard bottom but then you touch it and you're shocked at how soft it really is.

Brent, how could you!!! :paddle:

I thought you were joining me in abstinence until the fateful day that our car arrived and we'd be able to enjoy the love at first sight of OUR car.

Now, you're just like the rest. Ooh and Ahhh the slutty car that has had hundreds of people fawning over her, only to get crushed by her maker.

Now I have to go it alone ... waiting ... dreaming ... <aw fk it> ... wishing my damn dealer would call me out of the blue saying they had one in for training so I could race down there to take a bunch of 2d pictures that no one else would enjoy near as much as I enjoyed taking them...

GREAT PICS!!1 :coolphotos: Glad to hear yet another person emphatically upholding the "Pics don't do it justice, you have to see it in real life" line!

Ha, Ted Britt -- I used to work across the street from that place at everyone's favorite firearms lobby in '06-'08. Walked the lot and ogled Mustangs on about a monthly basis :D

The more pictures I see, the more confused I get about what color I want.

First I wanted racing red (with white striping) ... then I asked some other people what I should get:

My girlfriend said it should be deep-impact-blue ...
then one of her girlfriends said it should be Ingot silver ...
then one of my friends stated it should be a bright color .. preferrably yellow ...

Then I thought, well, let's see how the colors look outside of the 'glamour shots' and 'CGI renders'...

I like how the triple yellow looks, I also like the blue in the pictures ... now this ingot also looks pretty sweet ... aaargh!

Ow well ... I have until next year to make up my mind (or whenever the car is actually going to be available in Europe)
