HI, I want a hear you guy's opinion.
So I bought this lifetime alignment from Firestone and took it there to do alignment because I lowered it. And now 2 hrs later, not even at the time I drop off. Saying that because it's lowered issue for doing alignment it's not covered in lifetime and now they have to charge 40. What is the hell word "lifetime" mean here?? I am like wtf??? Why did I get a lifetime then?
What would you guys say about this?

Not surprising, just like the warranty from Ford, modifications are not covered.

Didn't you ask about if the lifetime alignment would cover a car with modified suspension?

The lifetime alignment is a warranty on their work. You lowered the car, changing the geometry of the suspension, thus calling for a new alignment. Your responsibility.

Sorry, I am a bit confused. Are you saying when you changed the springs on the car and took it to Firestone, you purchased a $210 lifetime alignment package? And just out of the blue you took it back and the alignment was off and you requested to have it realigned?

So first I bought warranty only. from diff Firestone and explained how much my car was lowered , they said it's good and price was 170.
Now I came to do actual alignment on mine and came here different Firestone and they said this warranty I got is not for lowered. Lowered car fall under exotic plan which should cost 40 bucks more from what plan I have now.
Sry for the confusion, I'm still waiting here and got frustrated too.

I had issues with my previous car that was really low and they wouldn't even sell the lifetime to me. This time around with the Mustang I've have no issues with the Eibach springs and getting it aligned; I've had it done 3 times in the past years w/out a single problem.

Try a different Firestone location and don't even mention the springs.

Ok, now I understand. Always better to just have your car serviced at the original place you bought the service/warranty. Did you check around with different Firestone's to see if the correct price is $210? Maybe the original place did make a mistake.

i remember when i was a teen they had some sort of deal like this and i drove them nuts with my car they got fed up and stopped dealing with me. i think if they offered this today with me changing my suspension so often they would have lost 2 grand in labor so you cant blame them. most shops have no experience with lowered cars its pathetic if you ask me.

I took my lowered mustang to Firestone and bought the regular lifetime alignment. I told them it was lowered and they never mentioned any exotic bs to me. The tech took his time and did a great job getting it to the specs I wanted.
