the one I saw was not as nice as that. it just didn't feel good in my hand, plus way to tall. Also the volume and tuning knobs, wow they just feel huge, could be because they are so far apart. Maybe if they were centered a little more would look better. Trust me I want to like this car so bad, I have been waiting so long for it, but seeing that car left a sour taste in my mouth.
My 11 felt so much more solid, and the quality felt better too, and I know my car is cheep, hopefully the production cars will be better, I sure hope so

I'm thinking maybe do a built motor, and a roll bar, in may car and go for a 9 second quarter mile

Well, the things you mention as feeling cheap will probably not be changing for production. I doubt the shifter feel will be much different, nor will there be a difference in the volume knobs. Maybe the window will feel better, but maybe not.

Definitely agree with the person who mentioned sitting in an M4. That would probably help clarify things.

I'm assuming you'll get a chance to sit in your LE before accepting delivery, so if you've already been in an M4 that'll help you determine whether those annoyances are enough of a deal breaker to switch to the M.

keep your 11 and build the motor.

Sorry but there is no way the 15 will be built less "solid" than your '11. Fords testing is more extensive than ever and build quality/craftsmanship is also much improved since then. In addition the car is meant to be sold overseas to be judged against some higher standards. I just don't see it. As most of these cars that went dealerships for training were built before regular production started I would bet it is just a preproduction issue.

Well lets hope so. I was so excited when I heard there was a 2015 two towns away, so I dropped everything and rushed over to see it. When I saw it I was excited, but when I sat in it, I was like you got to be kidding me. Then the more I looked at it the less I liked it

I am very seriously thinking of that. Even though it is one of the fastest mustangs around, with the money I would be saving could be made even sicker. For under 10 grand could have a low 9 second mustang. Guess it's time for 800+rwhp

If I had the money I'd build my '11 into a serious machine and get the '15 as the daily.

Sounds to me like you need to just go buy something else. If the more you looked at it the less you liked it then why bother?

I definitely sounds like you simply need to shop around. Try the M4. Try the Vette. Then be sure to at least try the S550 LE when it arrives. At that point, you'll be able to make an educated decision on which way you want to go. And, as you already alluded to, the real answer may simply be 'none of the above' and you keep your '11 and go crazy with it.

What you're experiencing is quietly a fear of my own. I *think* I know what this car is all about at this point. Like many here, I've spent many months following it, gradually building a mental picture of what it's going to be like to experience it first hand. But until that moment of truth comes when I strap in, fire it up, set the controls and press the go pedal, I'm going to have some tiny doubts in the back of my mind about whether it's really as good as I built it up in my mind to be.

My main concern is the 5.0 the 5.7 in my Challenger is a torque monster which is fun for under 60. I just hope that low end instant torque will be there on the 5.0.

I hated the 3.7 and how it didn't feel strong until after 3500 rpm

The low end torque in the Coyote is awesome, especially with a 3.73 rear end. I can only imagine how this new Coyote is going to be but you're definitely going to enjoy it! My brother has a 2012 RT and the Coyote is just better in every way, except the sound.. That HEMI with the rear resonator delete is just intoxicating compared to my old 2012 GT.

That's great to hear. So it pulls like a freight train from start to finish? Because the 5.7 feels like a rabid bear down low but leaves a lot to be desired at the top. I hate how heavy it feels all the time.

Yeah I have the blastin bob reso delete and the sound is....intoxicating except at above 4500 RPM but down low it makes a great sound hmm I notice a pattern with the 5.7 lol. Best I ever pulled with CAI and Reso Delete was 4.98 on a very very cold morning banging gears like a champ lol.

Ford hasn't released the dyno/powerband graphs yet, but I think this newer engine has better low-end torque. Many here are waiting to see actual plots, to see the deltas, etc.

I don't think you have anything to worry bro, you are going to love that car.. it is a whole different league, & focus than the R/T world.
