thank you guys i appreciate all the cheers! I had a oil catch can on my challenger and it did collect a lot of oil on there so I know for sure that they work. Mine used to collect a lot of oil. I want to prevent as much oil from going into the intake as possible.
Go to this forum and search it for 'catch can' - use the "Search this Forum" pull down tab. Lots of threads about all the different catch cans available.

I can say the upr catch can was a nice looking upgrade and seems to serve a purpose at least in my car. No cheap rubber or plastic hoses and the can is metal and catches oil so it works for me.

Congrats on the new car. I almost bought a Challenger RT two years ago and still want one. I think they look very good and have decent power, especially if you get the Scat pack. Maybe one of these days.

Awesome car!

** We used to have a shop here in san antonio called FPS, Ford Performance Shop, and after tearing down 87-93 5.0 motors time after time and seeing the oil residue caked inside of the intake I will always use the catch can. Useless or not it makes working on things cleaner. Thats why I like them

Why on AM is the catch can for a GT and V6 $115 yet the catch can for EB is $160?

Good looking car OP! That DIB looks amazing!

They do? If they were recommending them, wouldn't you think it would come like that from Ford?
Weird how ALL the GT350's on the track tour this Summer had them.

IF they had made a Challenger in a convertible, it would have been a very hard choice for me. Congrats on the new car!

Welcome to the Deep Impact Blue Club. I did the same thing, traded a challenger rt in on mine 6 months ago. Congrats.

Congrats! I had a 2010 challenger rt, and then a 2015 scat pack before my GT. Definitely a lot faster than the RT, but not as torquey? Lol.

Anyway, the 392 hemi pulls hard all the way to redline. I really loved the power of that motor. If the challenger slimmed down to the the 3800 lb range, a scat pack would be a force to reckon with.

I loved my challengers, but love my DIB GT too!

Yeah I loved the challenger, the RT felt very restrictive, i test drove the 392 and it had good power but it felt so bulky and could barely handle. The GT power just keeps going even when your at redline i love it!

That 392 is awesome, but entry level for the scat is $40k and most dealers layer on a bunch of options pushing whatever slim inventory they have into the mid to high 40s.
