Finally Admitted I Wanted New Exhaust

So after I bought my GT PP, I instantly wanted to change the exhaust since the stock was horrible. I rushed and did very little research, bought the MBRP Street Cat-Back. Not a horrible system, it was constructed very well, fitment was spot on, tone wasn't bad, and no drone. BUT, it was boring. It was barely louder than stock at idle, and just didnt give me that F*ck Ya! feeling when getting on it.

So after a lot more research and hunting around for the best price, I got hooked up by Brandon over at Maryland Speed with the Corsa Extreme CB.

I was completely against spending that kind of money for exhaust at first, but the more and more research I did...nobody could match that nasty sound with no drone.

Can't wait for it to come in...might throw up a sound clip but there are already a million out there on youtube that dont do it justice.

Main point here is hopefully others will learn, don't rush into a mod before you do stupid amounts of research, unless you have stupid money to just throw around...

Good advise i did the same thing as you, bought the cheapest catback didnt like the sound so when i did my na build i went with the Arh complete system with catted x..love the sound....now , thounderous and angry at the same time! I was able to sell my old catback as well!

LOL nope, keeping that warranty so just a CB...most of my neighbors are pretty cool so I wont be gunning it until I get out of our neighborhood.

Same here. I spent hours on You-Tube and two days at the NMRA Finals trying to find the right sound I was looking for. Nothing sounds like the Corsa Extreme!

I did the same got rid of my MBRP race and purchased corsa extreme. So much nice sounding! Can't wait till I get my headers!

I love my Corsa Xtreme. I honestly do not think its even that loud. You will enjoy it, its an exotic sound that no other exhaust gives you.

I may be swapping to Corsa but the touring/sport for when I run longtubes. The extremes are ridiculous with longtubes. To the point I find it obnoxious and I'm a young, single, speed & noise loving guy.

I agree. Especially after test driving a 16' 1SS Camaro hearing that stock compared to the Stock Mustang Gt. Dear god world of difference but I knew going aftermarket you can really wake up the beast.

The GT hopefully in '18 will have an active exhaust standard. B/c S550's just sound way too tame.
