We have/have got/done/tested/R&D'd the twin scroll vs. single scroll :)

Spool is un-compromised when utilizing the Borg Warner EFR series turbochargers ;)

Anthony
So it's a single scroll adapter with twin scroll turbo?

No, the adapter and turbo are both single scroll. The housing on a twin scroll looks a lot different.

Okay thanks. I thought FFTEC Kits came with twin scroll turbos.

I thought it would be twin scroll too... Even with open scroll this thing spools like a champ. Full Race's twin scroll EFR set up will be a beast for sure.

I'm jealous. I'd love to do an FFTec build like the FF600 or the turbo kit but the annual bonus comes out in March and in order to get my EB this year I had to promise to replace her car next year.

How much time you have wrapped up in the swap?

Looks much better than the stock compressor.

Install is complete and tuning should happen monday!

Huge thanks to FFTEC for going above and beyond what any shop is expected to do.

Due to the hotside on their shop car being slightly older then the ones in the kits, the downpipe fitment was off.

I was happy to modify it but they insisted to bring the car to their shop this evening. 9pm-4:30am was spent modifying the downpipe and mating it up to my exhaust.

Even on the COBB ots 1 tune the car feels great, I'm seeing full spool between 3250 and 3500

That's great Anthony, glad it turned out well! Where did you relocate the coolant res to? I can kind of see a piece in the corner of the last pic. Was also looking at the new placement of the UPR can. What did you do for the WOT vacuum line?

Realistically, the full turbo install should take about 5 to 7 hours for a novice installer! This Includes coolant drain/fill, and an oil change.

Excellent working with you tonight/this morning Anthony!

Beautiful MEB you own. It is a shining example of what we love building in our facility!

The Ecoboost is finally getting people's attention. The S550 is going to scare a lot of people, regardless of motor.

his coolant reservoir is located same as GT owners that install a hellion twin turbo kit
2 of the 3 lines are long enough for the relocation
only one line has to be extended which is seen running across the front of his engine
