odometer picture does very little to remedy a car that's wrapped around a poll or in a ditch. they will simply say they had to drive it to reproduce the issue. yes, there is a chance they will respect my wishes... And there is as great if not greater chance that they don't care what I say and will do whatever they choose to.
Obviously you will do what you feel you need to. I think you are over reacting (or have seen Ferris Bueller too many times), but that is just my opinion based on experiences with dealerships I have frequented.

A ford dealership is not (at least in my neck of the woods) some Mom and Pop shop with Billy Bob doing the repairs unchecked.

Best of luck in getting your issue resolved.

I've worked at dealers and have friends that still do... Not ford dealers but others of various caliber. Dealerships get a lot of clowns and there's a lot of screwing around. Large businesses often lack a sense of personal accountability which results in customers possessions being treated as a piece of meat

If I owned a dealership it would be known that any employee abusing a customer's car will be fired instantly. And any damage he did will be paid by him, even if it means taking his ass to court.

Maybe the car never leaves the parking lot but a porter who can hardly drive stick burns up my $1500 twin clutch and a year later it fails prematurely and I am left assuming it's just from my own use... Etc. many possible scenarios to not trust anyone with a car you care about.

So no definitive answer on fixing the 'fan blower speed stuck on high' problem yet??

Mine just started doing this less than 24hrs ago.....

edit: sorry I have a base pkg GT...no premium stuff here....

I also have this problem. No matter whether the A/C is in auto or manual or whether it's on max A/C or not, the fan speed does not work. Has anyone identified a fix for this?

I have noticed that if I turn off recycling air (automatically turns itself back on constantly), the air will blow very weak. It's not great but it's something and has been enough to make my car tolerable in this summer weather. I crack the window an inch and the Venturi effect pulls even more through the vents.

Maybe it will work for you to help for now

Mine started doing this today. Fan stuck on high.

I played around with it for about 10 minutes no change. Whether I cycle back and forth between Air conditioning/Auto LO HI all temps no change. Then randomly while driving home the fan control started working again. I had the control set to the lowest speed and left it running and then all of a sudden after a left hand turn the fan speed slowed down and it works now.

Seems like something is loose (connection, etc). Temp was 71 degrees outside.

GT PP Premium. Looks like it will have to go into the dealer after the holiday.

BTW: I am also supercharged and to be honest I'm not too concerned about the joy ride.

I know you said the temp outside was only 71, But was the inside of the car very warm from the sun hitting inside? Normally, if the inside cabin is really warm, the air fan will stay on high to speed up the cool down process, then when temps get to near the set temp, the fan will slow down and keep the temperature regulated.

No. Windows were down.

My fan stopped working completely now.

Ya mine is dead. What I was saying before about it working lightly if I have recycle air turned off... thats actually just air blowing through from the vehicle moving. The fan itself is totally dead.

I just had my car in for service for this. They replaced the HVAC control module or something like that (don't have paperwork in front of me). It went dead.

Just a part swap. Everything is working again.
