Anybody run the new Falkens yet? Interested in comparisons with the RE71R for autocross use. I'm currently sitting on square 19x11s so the A052 is out.

I've read the Tire Rack comparisons with the A052 and RS4.

Not sure if you're member of CAM Nation on fb but Stephen Tyszka (who I don't think is here) ran them on a Dixie Winter tour and I think local event prior to that. His GT350 - when I talked to him last in Bristol over Labor Day, was still in development, with freshly installed MCS shocks that he replaced Magneride with (so I am sure it's not super finished build or even close). Seems like he was pretty happy with Falkens and had done very well in Dixie.

I have pretty much decided to get a set come spring.

I've heard the comparison and the "nickname" of Falken RE71 as they have compared to the RE71 in feel. I have heard they run a little wider than the RE71s, though.

I got a deal on a set of Rivals, so I'm trying them this year.

Interesting. Last I checked, they didn’t make any 19’s. But I see they have a few available now.

I watched a video a few months ago of a guy running a set on his cam t Camaro. He seemed to like them, but he was coming from a 615k+. I’ll see if I can find the link

Edit: didn't mean to not say anything as Chad's page speaks for itself. He's an elite level autocrosser in case yous don't know him.

i'll have feedback soon, as i will be working very closely with falken this season as one of their sponsored drivers. will be running a size i've never tried before - 315/30ZR19, since i was planning on adding 0.5" of ride height anyway, and the weight penalty is only ~3lbs/corner with wheel/tire weight on the 19x12 vs. 18x12 setups i have. stay tuned!

Here's a little data to add to the mix. Mounted up a set of RT660 315/30s on 19x12s and compared total width to my previous A052 315/30 on 18x12 setup. These now take the crown for the widest 315 I've ever used - Hoosier A7, BFG Rival S and the A052 among them. Excited to see how the compound compares when I test later this month @ Thunderhill.

How do they compare width-wise to the MPSC2 315/30 19s? And for that matter, how do they stack up to Cup 2s in general?
