  1. Sticky stuff on catalytic converter???

Definitely could be, although the cats are fully sealed and it would have to run down the whole header and to the bottom of the cat. Probably a mixture of oil, dirt, road grime, and stuff such as that
  2. Sticky stuff on catalytic converter???

Love the picturešŸ˜‚ anyways at higher speeds I get a slight rubbery burning smell, i checked around and saw nothing, I thought it was my tire rubbing on my fender liners as i do have the car pretty low. Ive read a few threads that have also had that same smell and they say its oil, somehow someway...
  3. Swapping cams.. knowledge me..

Comps 220/234 cams with a tune a LT headers add abt 70hp and almost 100tq at the wheels, move the power up higher in the rev range too.
  4. E-brake question...

Yeah no problem, first time I tightened it I of course did it to much and you'll feel the friction being put on the driveline by the break. The light won't come on because i think it has to be pulled up a certain amount to register, but yeah you can also just feel the hand break when you pull...
  5. E-brake question...

Yeah over time, hundreds of pulls and releases causes the cable to have some play in it. I had enough play where it would think it was engaged when i was driving, all you have to do is follow the break cable and go down under the car closer towards the rear along the drive shaft and tighten the...
  6. Fenders?

The stock fenders are aluminum, aftermarket ones are usually steel but id spend them money on oem aluminum ones.
  7. Barton short throw shifter

You have to push down on the whole shifter, it takes some force so youā€™ll never accidentally go into reverse instead of first, takes some getting used to but i love it
  8. Barton short throw shifter

Iā€™d like to start off by saying I did so much research on weither to go with the barton or MGW shifter. I pulled the trigger and went with the barton and i cannot say iā€™m not blown away, the feel, the look, just everything. I donā€™t want to start a MGW vs barton thread, rather iā€™m just giving my...
  9. Drive Belts

wish i would have known thatšŸ˜‚
  10. Pedals flexing/moving during low speed turns?

Yeah that's really weird, glad you got one with some good pedals:like: safe drives brother
  11. Pedals flexing/moving during low speed turns?

Yeah maybe do a check of your firewall, this pedals are mounted really strong and they are mounted separately. Dont understand how the firewall would be damaged in order for your pedals to move like that. Did you like crash into something or bottom out really hard? Might be a manufacturing...
  12. Drive Belts

I dont know if you still need it but yeah. This is for a 5.2 voodoo but they are basically the same belt wise. The ac belt is an absolute pain, but with enough muscle you'll get it around the compressor. Edit- there is not really a procedure just do it like a normal belt install, wrap it around...
  13. Brembo rebuild installed

Hey I was looking to rebuild my Brembos but the only thing i didnt know about was where i could get another brembo sticker of the right size. where did you get yours?
  14. Is it just me, or...

Yeah it does u-turns like a bus I found that if i put the clutch in rev it to 3,500 and let go of the clutch really quickly i can turn on a dime:like:
  15. So, steppin’ out?

I have a mt-82 in my 2017 gt and i really dont have problems with controlling it. I turn everything off, I hold the traction button for 5 or 6 seconds which turns advance trac off. I feel like advance track limits the car and tries to correct the angle when i want it to slide out. Im 16 so I am...
  16. Hood moves around alot above 100 mph

I know my hood is aftermarket but be careful brother, i was doing a buck 20 and she started flapping hard. Scared the piss out of me so i was doing 70 on my way home and the hood flew up. I know your probably going to be good but check all your hood and hinge bolts. Ride safe:thumbsup:
  17. Cervinis hood crash test

Oh yeah definitelyšŸ˜‚ iā€™m thinking the front seal that goes along the front had a lot to do with it as well, there was a gap in between the bumper and front of the hood which was constantly blowing up on the hood. When the rebuild comes iā€™ll definitely spend all the money just for the piece of mind
  18. Cervinis hood crash test

No your good, it crossed my mind a few times to do the pop lock style hood latches but i didnā€™t feel like drilling into the hood and messing up the look. Knowing myself i would have drilled them wrong and made them crookedšŸ˜‚. It would have definitely solved this little problem but i thought the...
  19. Cervinis hood crash test

Haha had a little oopsie on the highway, i was doing about 85 and my hood decided it didnā€™t want to be latched anymore, completely messed up both fenders and roof. Itā€™s a cervinis 4 inch cowl, iā€™m really surprised it didnā€™t crack in half. Strong hood, not strong hood latch bolts:( Iā€™m glad iā€™m...
