That eliminates the 6th. gear shut off but you can't use a quiet mode if a need would be if early hours and want to be a good neighbor.

Grimmspeed sells a defeat module that you plug into the valve motor wiring harness for $30. It’ll keep the valves wide open and the car won’t throw a code and lock you out of swapping drive modes.
Could I please bother you for a link.

Somewhat unrelated but I was told today by the shop ceramic coating my car that the 2018 he also was working on was louder than mine. It was stock and new off the lot. Mine is a 16. Has anything changed with the exhaust on the new ones? My valves seem to be working fine. Curious....

I seem to remember reading somewhere that the 2016s didn’t have an Xpipe and only the R did for that year. I could be wrong but I think that’s the difference.

Nothing has changed on the exhaust since the GT350 has been out. Standard GT350's as well as the R's both have x-pipes, but the R doesn't have the resonators just past the x-pipe section.

I guess that’s what it was. Thanks for straightening me out on that.

MikeMM it happens to mine, just spray some WD40, wait like 5 min, then start it up and it will be fine. I have to spray WD40 maybe every 3 months.
Yeah I put some CLP on it and it’s working good now. I’ll have to just keep an eye on it.

It’s not the sticky valves that is the problem it is them being screwed down too tight to the exhaust. Loose them a little.
