Gibson doesn't even sell the SFT superflows anymore. They only sell MFT and CFT mufflers for our cars which is about 3cfm less than a 3" straight pipe. My car is too loud because I'm basically straight piped with some resonators. I'm mainly thinking how much restricting flow for sound will affect HP. If its negligible say 10-20hp I don't think i'll notice at the 700hp range. That is what I don't know. But as far as boosted cars Gibson outflows everything on that list you linked which is my original problem, DB level.

The MWA (muffler with attitude) may flow a bit less than a straight pipe but Gibson doesn’t offer the MWA muffler as a Cat-back system for the S550 Mustang.
The “Superflow CFT” muffler that are part of Gibsons S550 Cat-back system is not a good option for Supercharged engines.

Right, Thats why I was asking for clarifiction I'm still confused how gibson is bad for boost. Could you explain a little more?

Superflow SFT: Manufacturer claims is the quietest aftermarket muffler on the market (listed on your graph) was never offered for our cars

Superflow CFT: which is what i'm running and I can literally see the inlet from the outlet muffler tip so not sure how i'm loosing CFM to bottle up my SC.

Superflow MWA: Would be similar to the Corsa extreme which I tried and got rid of immidiatly as It was no quieter than a straight pipe. all the mufflers you listed are of similar design and will be louder than what i have currently.

Borla doesn't have a 3" option only 2.5" and I don't want to weld reducers onto my collector. So they are out. I'm basically thinking i'll just have to deal with it except now i'm concerned that my 3" gibson is putting a cork on my supercharger from what you said somehow???

For reference the internal tubing inside the muffler isn’t 3.0”. It’s a much smaller diameter.

I've got a new 2022 GT 301A 1600 miles, without active valve exhaust, completely stock, it kinda loud, on the highway with the cruise control set at 70-75 mph, when I go up a slight grade the "droan" in the cabin is obnoxious, I would rather pay down my financing than mod my new car, what should I do to silence it down, without much power loss?

The Borla 3" Resonator #60661 does a great job at quieting the exhaust. One of my sales guys is running this on his car and it made a huge difference.
