MFT ? Do you mean MWA.Gibson doesn't even sell the SFT superflows anymore. They only sell MFT and CFT mufflers for our cars which is about 3cfm less than a 3" straight pipe. My car is too loud because I'm basically straight piped with some resonators. I'm mainly thinking how much restricting flow for sound will affect HP. If its negligible say 10-20hp I don't think i'll notice at the 700hp range. That is what I don't know. But as far as boosted cars Gibson outflows everything on that list you linked which is my original problem, DB level.
The only Gibson Cat-back offered for the S550 Mustang comes with “Superflow” w/CFT (cross flow technology) mufflers.
The MWA (muffler with attitude) may flow a bit less than a straight pipe but Gibson doesn’t offer the MWA muffler as a Cat-back system for the S550 Mustang.
The “Superflow CFT” muffler that are part of Gibsons S550 Cat-back system is not a good option for Supercharged engines.
