I don't understand why many have the issues and I don't? My "street" is too quiet actually.and I have Zero drone. I try to hear it and can't make it happen. My system only has about 200 miles on it. Why would drone increase with break-in? Seems unlikely. Maybe I'm just used to straight pipes on my previous 92 Turbo Notchback and this car is just so quiet inside the cabin.

For people saying any exhaust system will drone at low rpms are wrong. I have a corsa sport with an xpipe and I try to get it to drone and it won't. I run it on the highway going up hill at 1700-2100 rpms with ABSOLUTELY no drone.

I had a cheaper exhaust which I won't bash and it droned so bad it rattled the inside of the car. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money on a quality system like borla or corsa and u won't having any issues with drone resonator or not.
+1

Not true my man they fit just fine... Took out the wot rasp and deepened the tone quite a bit more. No rattles or rubbing. :headbang:

Looks good. Is that the aluminized steel version? I was told that you can't weld on that type of steel.

I had the MBRP Street H on a '15, everything else stock with a VMP 91 tune. It had a nice deep tone, but was much louder than I expected and did have a touch of drone somewhere under 2k rpm. I forget exactly where. What I discovered, quite by accident, is that the sound tube was resonating inside the cabin at the same frequency the exhaust was at a particular rpm. Deleted the sound tube and the drone was gone. I didn't mind it being as loud as it was at all, but the drone was a little annoying. First mod on my '18 was removal of the sound tube. Now, it has long tubes, no cats, no resonator and stock mufflers. No drone with a deep very tuned sound, but I have to start it with the garage door closed when its cold. Lol...

I also have the MBRP Street. Maybe a slight drone but not really. She’s perfect but after 4K it gets really loud. I’m okay with the loud. It actually makes drive a little slower. With my stock exhaust I was beating the crap out of the car and nobody knew I was doing it she was so quiet.

I have come to the conclusion that I'm going to either chop up my exhaust/customize it, get a solo or an AWE.

I have a functioning diffuser for my car and the exhaust hangs too low and I have pipes in the way of my mounting points.

Whatever I do will have resonators to tame that WOT rasp.

I have a Magnaflow Tru X Resonated X pipe and that definitely gets rid of rasp and gives you a nice deep, smooth tone! Love mine!
