I just installed a hellion twin kit. And am in the process of running fuel lines for the new fuel system and would like to remove the evap. I feel like it wouldn't be an issue but I haven't purchased a tune yet and want to make sure it won't be a problem.

You have to vent the largest line out of the tank with a check valve or else it will make fueling up miserable.... ask me how i know..... Check valve to keep moisture from drawing in the open tank. As the tank uses fuel it will pull vacuum through the fill neck which sucks in a little moisture, but better than an open tube all the time. Update tune for CEL, and get rid of the purge valve on the intake as well to clean up.

Roger that! Thanks! Did you find a specific check valve to work best?
Thinking about doing evap delete myself but have no idea how to go about it. Any tips or things I may need to complete this? Any help would be much appreciated.

Done it, just cut the vent line and let it vent to atmosphere, you could find some sort of filter, but wouldn't be a bad idea. Mine just goes straight out no filter, and no issues. And my tuner made sure I would have no lights.

That is the vent out of the evap canister. It just gets pushed into a hole in the frame above the rear cradle. I need to know where to pick up the tank to run a vent with the check valve shown above.

So this hadn't been necroed in a while...

Can you just pull out the solenoid and the tube that runs down to the box behind the wheel well and let it vent like that? Or does all of that need to come out all the way back to the tank?
