So my AC finally went kaput like everyone elseās. So I did the regular checks, fuses, relays ect. So I decided to jumper the AC clutch to engage it through the relay. When I did so the motor heavily bogged down and almost stalled out. Any ideas? Bad compressor?
No pics but the car ran a 7.3 at 100mph with the shifting still not dialed in, launching bad, and letting out bc I shit my pants when the nitrous hit haha
car is running good other than the recent issue lol. Like I stated above the TPS wiring for the nitrous is the very top wire closest to the TB and in the wiring diagram in the TPS+ wire
Car randomly sputtered out and died and wonāt start. Checked fuses and relays all are good. I unplugged the fuel pump plug and checked for voltage. All wires are getting power if cranking, or with accessory mode on except 1. Is that normal? Iām assuming the plug is 1 wire always getting voltage...
Yes thatās what I was meaning yes. But in my opinion with the power level you are at itās kinda hard to tell. If you do mainly rolls Iād say 3.31s or 3.55s. If you do digs then 3.73 may be worth it. Just worth mentioning shifting into 4th when roll racing tanks my car. I have lost many races in...
Good smart, but idk ab the throttle body thatās smth Iām not knowledgeable about. But nope Iām 6r80. 3.55 gears and I hit 4th at ab 115-120 with a 28inch tall tire
Damn man Iām sorry to hear that what happened? But IMO Iād go with a ported CJ or a Holley manifold. Only go boss if it has a spacer and HEAVY porting. Ik a guy with ur same setup with a CJ and ported heads with some weight reduction running 5s 60-130. Iād say your setup is easily capable of 7s...
Hey man not sure if your still same setup but from your mod list I would say that your stock heads and mainly your manifold are restricting your times. The 18 mani is not gonna flow well with the high revving cams. On top of that these cars need any all all weight reduction possible Iād start...
