For those that have done the 18+ manifold swap on a 15-17 model, has anyone found a purge valve from another application that is a bit more "neat" that can still work with the factory plug? I looked at a few and they seem to have a similar plug at a glance but I haven't been able to confirm. I know there's also going to be some pressure/electrical resistance differences so just ANY purge valve wouldn't work. Just as an example, there's one for a porsche that has barb fittings on both ends, and appears to be much, much smaller.

If it's not worth the time and hassle of finding one that does, I can obviously make the factory one work. I just wanted to ask just in case it's one that can simply be picked up at the parts store. I personally hate how the factory has to be plumbed on the 18 mani, and given that I live in a state that doesn't do vehicle inspections or enforce EPA regulations on road vehicles, deleting the Evap system isn't off the table. But that will be a little ways down the road when I have time to deal with that.

I ordered a 18 purge valve but haven't decided how I'm going to adapt the wiring yet, I don't want to cut any of my factory wiring at all.

I removed the stupid hard plastic evap line that runs along the driver sider valve cover and plumbed a new line to the unused port on the back of the 2018 IM (assuming you locked out the IMRC). Then on the front of the IM I ran the line like shown. I cut the brackets off the stock evap purge valve and it tucks in pretty nice, didn't need to mess with the wiring. If I spent a little more time with the dremel I could clean it up a bit more.
