EU FORD PERFORMANCE PACK

Hello,

I have a European Mustang GT 2017

I would like to know whether the ford performance packs are eligible for European MUSTANG GT 2015-2017?

The part I am interested is : M-9452-M8 - Power Pack 3 (FORD PERFORMANCE PACK 3)


I have researched that there is not a fitting problem, however, will the Procal tune work on a European mustang GT 2017 ?

My concern is that on FORD PERFORMANCE'S website is stated that the calibration is only for US and Canadians Vehicles. However, all dealerships in the EU offer that pack for the MUSTANG GT

I was going to order it however I got stuck there.

I put the performance pack 2 on my Australian Mustang and like you said it was specified for US and Canada only.
Didnt have any problems loading ecu update and works well.

I don't know for Australian S550s, but for the EU ones they have a GPF built in the three-way catalytic converter and a pressure sensor to force regeneration with lean mixture if pressure differential is too high.

For sure they have a different ECU strategy from the US ones to account into emissions and increased backpressure.
Even if you don't care about the emissions (and the resulting need to have to cheat it somehow), the increased backpressure from the GPF will have an effect on your engine.
And a map that will ignore the GPF will surely damage it.

Edit: It looks like Australian GTs don't have the GPF

2018+ won't work because of the GPF.
2017 might be fine though.

If the ford dealer is selling the kit I'd say go for it.

2017 might be fine though.

Everything I find says the GPF are 18 and newer.

I got this one off EBay from Rolan Australia at a ridiculous price Of $1180.
The next one they listed went up to over $2000.
crossed my fingers and hoped it would work.
Dowloaded the tune with the Procal software off the ford performance website.
Dont like the no lift shift part though.
