Ford Performance Packs UK

Has anyone in the UK got any of the performance packs installed? When I emailed Ford I enquiring about it I was told the following:


Our legal team who has advised the following:

‘Ford Performance’ Parts marked as ‘for Track-Use only’mean if they are fitted to a car, then that car becomes no longer road legal.
However, the vehicle's owner may be able to apply for an individual type approval with the local authorities and DVLA.
I want the power pack 1 installed which I’m sure is identical to the US.

It's a minefield, Ford trying to cover its backside. Basically, you pays your money you take your chance.
