Congratulations MC! I have just found out that mine was built on 9th August, so maybe we will share a boat. Would it be too much to hope that is the Talisman (17th Sept)? Cheers!
I'd say far too much to hope :(. I'm just happy for it to get out of the USA before any snowstorms :). Is a bit of a worry thinking about how long it's going to be outside, but not much we can do. Just be patient I guess.

G’day everyone
First time poster here but I have been reading for nearly 12 months. Already purchased the “Gnome” spare tyre, clutch spring and a couple of small items. I plan to keep her very much stock, but let’s see as the time passes!!.

Ordered- 7th September 2015
Got NSC
Got Vin
Got Window sticker with a blend date 12/08/2016
I messaged ford FB today to ask if the car was going to port yet. The reply was that it was still scheduled to be built. I thought the blend was the build?? But it has not appeared on ETIS as yet, still has the place holder number (Maybe updated this Friday). Maybe Ford Australia only know as much as I do until Etis updates, I have no idea but hoping anyway it was built on the 12th August.

Since I got my VIN it has been more painful than the 11 months prior!!

Cheers to all

Flat a Rock is down for Holidays this week, so there won't be much movement until next week.

But (silver lining) it wasn't a Friday 13th which would have been a tripple whammy

We will probably be able to stick our fingers in the panel gaps of our cars, or our whole fists .

Or perhaps they only built a few cars that day and more attention was paid to them. Part of me knows I am lying to myself ... but where there's hope ... again, we can't control any of this. Let's just see what we get.

MC, I checked with Ford Service (Deysha) overnight re vehicle status and the reply was that the car was "almost at the port in Bartimore". Hopefully yours is not far behind and we can still make the Talisman!! Oh the power of positive thinking! Or perhaps that should be called blind optimism.

Mine was built 25/07/16 and Deysha cant find anything??? I think I have "that car" that just falls through every crack in the system...It will be the one that gets to port but is the "first" car on the "next" boat then last off and doesn't make the train by "one" car then the dealer does not recognise its here, their systems say it's not even made and then 16 years later I find it rusted out at the back of a shed at fremantle wharf....:doh::doh::frusty::frusty::frusty: Ok lets not jinx myself too much.....feels that way though.

I guess it depends on the backlog at the port. I am hoping it doesn't spend too much time sitting about. I should check with Deysha.
