What a relief. Finally got my VIN number today. 11 months after order. (Not bad)
Least I know its only 12 more weeks or less before I finally meet my baby and feel the joy that others have already felt.
Good stuff - Things definitely feel more real when you have a VIN!

I actually think it was easier before I got a VIN. It's been cool since things started happening, but now my car's been built and is on its way every day is an eternity. As 05STNG says though, it will be worth it.

I think exactly the same! I was all good until I had a VIN, didn't really think about it, but once I had that VIN checking websites and tracking it's progress became an obsession. The wait doesn't get any easier, it only gets worse the closer you get to ownership. I'm at the stage of pulling my hair out now, I know the car is with the dealer but we haven't been given any indication of when we will be able to take delivery, they're not even acknowledging that they have it yet! So frustrating but it will be so worth it!

So my car was built 25th/07/16, my ETIS features list has been updated I have window sticker etc etc....I can't really find anything out now? I have checked through Ford service on this Forum who have been great but I guess my car is just in the Zone where it's off the radar? how long generally from built to getting to a ship? just trying to work out which ship I "MAY" make it onto...If there is a way to find out more....
