Oh man that is scary how long these builds are taking. I ordered mine like 2 weeks ago and was being generous on the eta of 6 months. Sounds like 6 months is the quickest one can expect.

Remember, they did not start building 2022s until Jan 3rd and the factory was shut down three weeks in late-Feb to mid-March. It is a good sign that they scheduled builds for April and this coming week will be scheduling builds for the first three weeks of May.

Remember, they did not start building 2022s until Jan 3rd and the factory was shut down three weeks in late-Feb to mid-March. It is a good sign that they scheduled builds for April and this coming week will be scheduling builds for the first three weeks of May.

So my understanding of what you are saying is that for the people who placed orders early, say Oct, their longer delay is due to the fact that builds for 22 were not even slated to begin untill a month ago, so their wait time will be inherently longer just due, but a order placed a month ago can still be expected in the 3~4 months that most dealers, including mine are quoting?

In for long delays, but I’m hopeful! . I think we’ll all have a better perspective after we see this week what gets scheduled for May.

I thought it may be the color because the other late availability color, purple, started scheduling this past week. EG seems to be the only color not scheduled, at least from the feedback on here, some folks have gotten their 22 GT premiums already.

I’m in the same boat as you ordered beginning of November priority 10 as well. Haven’t heard anything besides….that’s it’s an “unscheduled clean” stage

Anyone that ordered MP or EG and was expecting a build date before April was dreaming. Me, I've got multiple "late availability" factors with a EG, Mach1 with Handling Pack, order date 11/28. Hoping to get a May build date on Friday.

Well it became available 2/7 and if you didn't know about the 3 week shutdown, a month out scheduling about mid-march was theoretically possible. TBH I hoped my non HP would get scheduled at least before the HP order came off late availability. That's a pile of early, high priority orders to compete with. I think they were actually scheduling for April when it became available. That's with an extra week shut down or two. If it had all gone to plan and you had a really early priority 10 EG, and there were no delays you might have caught the end of march still.

This is very interesting, and HUGE news for EG GT buyers as this is the first known confirmation on here of this happening to one of our users.

I ordered mine 10/19, so that is not encouraging for me, but congrats to you, that is exciting.

Just double checked my records, Order confirmed by Ford on Feb 4th.
