I've said this a few times here, but I ordered my EG GT premium the first day the order banks opened in mid-October, and have received nothing from Ford other than the order verification email. Until now:

I was hoping it would be scheduled next week, this is not encouraging at all. I live 5 minutes from Flat Rock, and ordered it from a Flat Rock dealer right across the street from the plant.

I am priority 10 on the DORA

I think the EG was removed from the late availability list on March 1st. Hopefully they’ll be producing them soon.

This sucks. I’m dying to see eruption green on a convertible.

The problem is we're now into May scheduling next week, so if it's not scheduled next week, I'm looking at possibly June or later.

Kind of poor planning for a color that was supposed to be starting production on February 7th.

Yeah buddy! It’s all so screwed up! Sure hope we all get our cars as ordered. The future may be very bleak!

Lots of folks seem to have received the same email to include the Maverick and Bronco. There is some speculation that it is a parts availability issue or just Ford's way of saying to expect some delay. I am going to keep the faith for now and hope for the best. I ordered on 01/25/22 so hope yours is scheduled soon so mine can move up the priority ladder.

I received this email from Ford too. Talked to Chapman Ford today and they said my order is still clean and that the email was a generic mass email due to delays.

My EG was clean in early FEB. Someone has a April production date for one. The just got around to updating the order guide now.
Please keep in mind you are referring to M1 builds, those are separate from when the base EG GTs will be built.

There hasn't been a single retail EG GT scheduled, to my knowledge. So at this point the earliest is mid-May for us.

There are non M1 EG GT listed on autotrader. I think it more luck of the draw than anything that nobody here has a date for one yet. But yah, if you don't have a date already, may. I suspect we'll start seeing pics of real cars show up towards the end of may though.

Why are you just assuming it's the color? It could very well be a part. Either way, doesn't really matter. I hope you get it sooner than later. You never know!!

Thank you, me too!

I thought it may be the color because the other late availability color, purple, started scheduling this past week. EG seems to be the only color not scheduled, at least from the feedback on here, some folks have gotten their 22 GT premiums already.

I don't think any Mustangs at all were scheduled this past week, according to this post: https://blueovalforums.com/forums/i...rmation/&page=32&tab=comments#comment-1173302

I certainly didn't get scheduled (MP ordered on 12/27)

We went through a bit of this this past late summer with the wife’s M40i. BMW was having supply chain issues just like everyone else. They were allocating certain options to just the top of the line vehicle within the model. Example: Base X3 30i was not getting passenger power seat, H&K stereo, or even HUD at one point. M40iā€˜s and X3M’s were getting everything. Then they started to push out build dates from the fall to the winter with those two lines.

BMW has had amazing delivery times coming out of their Spartanburg plant before COVID. Approx 45 days order to delivery. Her M40i was one of the last ones to roll off the line fully equipped and on-time (47 days order to delivery). After that delays went into effect and they were pushing back two months or more.

As far as our 2022 GT in EG, have not heard a word from Ford. Never got an order acknowledgment ( yes I checked my Spam folder) and the dealer did say it went through. Didn’t get this latest Spam email from them either Just have to see what happens. My guess is with ordering it Feb 10th I’ll be lucky to see it before July.
