I may be ordering a 2019 soon, but may add the enhanced security, I am interested in mostly the hood/tilt/ alarm etc. which would be perimeter, not the motion sensor part.

I am seeing from F150 forums that the system never saves settings. menu option even can set it to perimeter only instead of all sensors, but it never saves. only way is to have the system keep asking you every time you turn engine off. Does the Mustang have the same issue?

Or it does properly save a default setting of either "all sensors" or "perimeter only"

Maybe I should just skip the option? I live right at end of a runway with Cargo 747s taking off all night and can feel the vibrations. I am sure if I had the system, it might be more of a nuisance? I of course would have Insurance and I am sure Passive is enough?

I had this option set in my 16GT, and now my 18. Both of them saved the settings without issue.

Same in my 2016 GT. The package is well worth it, just for the locking steering column, glove box, and center console. I also really appreciate that if the system is armed, as soon as the car is raised (tilt alarm), the alarm blares. No one is stealing my wheels.

That said, order a set of replacement lug nuts immediately. The stockers are absolute garbage. Gorilla makes a great set of lugs where each of them are locks.

What he said. I took my factory lugs off 20 minutes after I got home.

I believe there is an option in the settings somewhere (at least in the 15) that lets you can choose if you want it to ask you every time you turn off the car. I know it did when I got the car but I turned it off somehow.
