Emblem Delete decklid

I am wanting to get the trunk decklid that removes the mustang emblem because i think it cleans up the look of the rear so much, I was wondering who all has done this mod. How easy is the install? Any fitment issues? Also could anyone post pics of their back end with this mod?

I saw this one, but the reviews state that it still has slight indentions/dimples where the alignment holes for the stock emblem would be.

I did it and you are left with like 4 holes. I did not like the fact that I had holes specially since it has been raining a lot. I did not want a rain to get into my rear deck lid. I ended up buying the Ford Racing rear deck lid.

I think he's talking about that one, not straight up removing the emblem and having holes. I did the Ford racing one as well and installation was a breeze maybe 10 minutes, and mine has no indentations on it so I think it's hit or miss with them in that regard

Install was easy, if a bit scary tugging that hard at the old panel. There's videos on YouTube.

Got mine from CJ Pony Parts last week. Perfect, no dimple or scratches, 10 minute install.

The first batch that we received a very long time ago were the only ones that had ever had issues with the dimples that some were finding in the center of the decklid. This issue has since been corrected by Ford Racing and we continue to sell them with absolutely no issues.
