I just recently installed the Eibach Sportlines for a GT PP and went to get an alignment done. Attached is the printout for the work.

I chose it not because it was the lowest, but rather from what I could tell these yielded the greatest benefit in cornering, body roll and nose dive over the stock springs.

However, after getting an alignment done at the local ford dealer i'm questioning my decision as I am very limited on bringing the alignment in it seems due to the limited amount of aftermarket parts to help. There seem to be plenty of positive reviews of the product making me think I'm missing something.

Bear in mind, I'm also a rookie to these numbers and am looking for some translation to if they are good or bad for daily street driving with some spirited back roads home. My main concern with this car being a PP is having to buy 4 new tires every 6 months because of the camber and secondly negative impacts to the IRS and the grip.

Thoughts?

It seems the upper and lower limits on yours are a little different than mine. Some of those numbers if put on the scale they graded me to to would be red, but show green. Our fronts are pretty much the same, whereas my rear end alignment is pretty off.

They had said with some more work and in depth alignment they could get it in but I'm wondering if I hit a bump the wrong way will i have to go back and do it all again.

What dealer did you go to in Atlanta?

Excessive toe is what will cause tire wear far quicker than camber. There is factory adjustment to get the rear toe lined up, it looks like your alignment tech just didn't know what could be adjusted on the car.

Get the steeda subframe aligners in to make sure your subframe is square then get them to redo that alignment.

Absolutely true. Get your toe fixed.

http://www.edmunds.com/ford/mustang...15-ford-mustang-gt-suspension-walkaround.html

On the 14th pic you can see the toe link which has an eccentric for adjusting toe.
Good information...

So my question then i guess is all my "toes" show green on the alignment but yet my total toe is off is that the concern? I had thought total toe was the sum of the two toes from right to left?

The dealer I was at said they could probably get it roped in but would take a few hours going tire by tire..and at shop rate that's not cheap. Given, I did come in as soon as I could after work and was there at 5:00PM.

Im wondering if I should just take it to another dealer sooner and let them have a crack at it before i burn up my tires?

I work with my local Firestone guys and have the lifetime alignment. They're pretty solid plus you can redo it at anytime.

Took it another dealership closer to work and they were able to quickly get my total toe in and adjust some other things.

Camber still remained opportunistic though, its a very aggressive camber with:
-1.7 in the front
-2.5 in the rear.

It corners great, but would really like to get to the -1.2 front and -1.6ish back.

Problem is though I dont know of any products on the market to use for the IRS...any ideas?

Man, i wish i had that third link an hour ago...but its still awesome to know.

I'll crawl under the car and see if its maxed out. When I took it to the Ford dealer they had not yet received the alignment specs for a 2015, so i used my sheet from the prior dealer and loaded it up on the machine.

Because those specs were not yet there we were not able to determine what needed to be adjusted to affect camber, and from underneath it seemed there was no way to do it. Luckily, this tech was an old school tech and understood basic mechanics and could derive what bolts needed to be moved to affect the toe and caster bringing them dead in on both front and rear.

Unfortunately, we were actually looking at that exact same bolt but decided because it wasnt a cam'd bolt it didnt have any other purpose other than to hold that piece in place. no idea that it had a slider in it.

It's a shame they don't offer alignments for life at a higher price. it would be well worth it for those who like track days and drag days or whatever haha

They give you any deals? The one I called wanted 179 for lifetime. Trying to talk myself into it.

NTB seems CLUELESS or at least the ones around me. The first one said they don't have the 2015s in their system so they cannot do them. The second said lowered cars will not go on their rack...

I'm only on the steeda progressives too.

Yeah, they did, but it was because I took my wife's Jetta in for a state inspection and they had an oil spill or something that caused a delay and we had to come back. So they gave us the state inspection for free and offered a free oil change on the Jetta(which is quite hefty since I requested full synthetic). Then I asked about their alignments and they offered to do it at a discounted price, so I got the alignments for life for 155 after tax. Already aligned once and will do another once I get my new wheels on, so it's already paid for itself.

They also said you can apply for their credit card and get the alignment for life for 160. I opted out of that initially but it worked out in the long run. If you're military or a vet, I think you can get it for 160 as well.

You can always download the stock alignment specs I posted above and they should be able to get it from there. Or have them adjusted however you like.

*edit* FWIW, having worked at plenty of dealerships and garages, I can tell you, most alignment racks are difficult to get lowered cars on them, unless they're the newest models. But they should be able to throw down some 2x4 or 2x8's and get you on there no problem.
