All I'm asking for is to be treated in the same way as our friends across the pond, Ford power pack updates covered by warranty. It's a GLOBAL company. Why should we be treated any other way! Is this discrimination?
And why leave EB's out lol!

To be honest, I'd argue there's some 'logitistics' and 'Kissing up' with other companies to be done over here, already well est in the states, seeing the ST (Same engine) and the EB not under the same tune company both warranty protected is a bit shady, granted they have different Turbo's and a few other different things, but, it's vastly the same engine... Booohooo... Power hungry lol!

Just as much so with the Eco boost as as warranty friendly tune for the RS is available now. It's the same engine for f'ks sake!

Update; and it's bad news.

It's not warranty protected by Ford. (Boo).
Looks like the wait continues.
Are they purposfully trying to piss us all off. This (as well as many other things to do with Ford) is getting well beyond a joke.

A little bit of communication goes a very long way Ford
With other posts on this forum regarding sales and warranty issues only being able to be dealt with by specific dealers and service workshops, I would say that although branded as a 'global' car, the UK side of Ford seem to be very wary of the Mustang - possibly because of its uniquely American heritage and build, rather than being 'European' as they are more used to - hence why the RS gets warranty protection and the Mustang doesn't.

They basically seem very hesitant about what's not familiar to them and seem to be trying to play it safe... perhaps just that bit too much!
